Content is what you publish on your web site, on your web pages, your blog or your online store. There are plenty of blogs, articles on this subject (content) but here we will talk not only how to write a content or relevant content but the chances you have that your site or article to be indexed in search engines.
Let's start by seeing the whole picture and not just the content.
First, let's try to answer the following questions:
A1. Why write an article? There are two major reasons when deciding to publish an article. Informational content (news, fashion, reviews, etc.) or scientifically content (programming, settings, skin advices, etc).
For the first category there are patterns that are studied and improved to keep visitors on a site longer time. The second category of publications usually do not include patterns, useful information are often published by people who are less interested in the page layout but the quality of published informations.
Unfortunately search engines do not know and it is unlikely they will know how to assess the real quality of the information you will publish.
A2. The article you publish aim to increase the number of visits to the site or sending useful information?
If you publish the article that you want to bring more traffic to your site, it should not be very scientific. Usually these articles is for those interested, those who really want to know the fundaments and the number of these people is small.
A major mistake is to believe that a awesome content you will publish will generate traffic.
Hell no! Be aware that for search engines will counts the number of visitors and then the quality of contents (as far the search engine can understand that).A specialized website which contains important information will not have traffic or the best rank just because the pages contains unique informations, is scientifically correct and perhaps the best from the online space.
If you want your site to be focused on traffic then you should fit your layout and the content according with what is considered "relevant content" in the specific country, region and even population that you have in target.
Spend a little time browsing online articles, similar to what you want to publish, search for web sites that have traffic, analyze how they are written not from SEO viewpoint but the way of addressing informations to their vizitors.
SEO basic rules remains the same but the secret of success is in the layout of addressing and not if their content is SEO related.
A3. What distinguishes the published article from other articles or information that are already online?
If your target is focused on traffic, your template is one of the things that can make the difference between your web site and the competitors.
I do not recommend the same type of template, but there are not few cases where sites are fully copied, including content (a bit of modification and that's it).
In case your target is the website containing specific or even unique information it is highly recommended that your site to have its own identity. SEO rules remain the same, the way of writing must be legible to the reader and scientifically terms to be avoided as much as possible.
Let's go inside the problems for a bit
SEO rules say that an article should have at least 400 - 500 words per page. This is somehow justified by the fact that these words define the relevancy of content. Science is based on concrete and often on pages that contain scientific content did not need hundreds of words to define the message towards the readers. In this case, the search engines won't rank as relevant content even if it is many times better oriented to the real problems and not on the observations, the most common and often unnecessary.
In addition to these special cases part of SEO and SEM involve and act under both rules. We do not say here that SEM should be excluded promoting other types of content.
In terms of SEO must have correlated SEO basics such as title, meta description, meta keywords.
What is the correlation of these items?
Correlation means that meta elements title words to be found in the meta description, meta keywords and indeed in the page (content).
That's because only by respecting the basic rules of SEO when you publish a page, the page is not necessarily indexed.
Professional SEO means to correlate specific elements including directing and correcting the way you write an article so that search engines can better understand the type, quality, uniqueness and relevance of information page (website) and thus to gain a high rating's content.
